What is required to request a certified document on Official Records Online?
While each county and state has different requirements for different types of documents, please be prepared by having sufficient information on the individual whose document you are requesting. This includes parents, maiden names, birth dates and birth locations.
In addition, you may also need to upload an image of any valid ID card for yourself, the requestor. This can be scanned or even just be a photo of the ID taken with your phone. When completing the transaction you will be asked identification questions that help validate your identity before fulfilling the order.
I need my documents tomorrow, how quickly can I get them?
We are excited to offer an expedited overnight option via FedEx for any order. While customers will have to pay an additional service fee to use this shipping option, you can ensure you get your documents as quickly as possible.
How much does it cost to purchase documents on Official Records Online?
Cost of the purchase is based on the state legislated price for the documents plus a $10 convenience fee to each transaction. This convenience fee remains only $10 whether you order 1 or 10 documents at once. Once the transaction is complete, future orders will again charge an additional $10 convenience fee.
