Information:
On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, 4:09am, the Green Lake County Sheriff's E911 Center received two calls concerning a "woods" on fire in the area of Sth.73 and Cth.T in the Township of Princeton, Green Lake County. With fire and rescue services paged, a Sheriff's Deputy arrived in the area at 4:12am and determined that the fire was on Judy Lane, South of Cth.T, adjacent to the northwest end of Big Green Lake. The Deputy also determined that the fire originated from a home and that the home was fully engulfed.
 
Princeton Fire/Rescue and Emergency Medical Services arrived on Judy Lane at 4:24am and during the suppression efforts discovered the remains of one deceased individual. The Green Lake County Coroners Office and State Fire Marshal were then called.
 
As of 10:00am fire suppression efforts ceased. The scene has been secured by fire investigators and law enforcement. The remains of the one individual have been taken to the Fond Du Lac County Medical Examiners Office for autopsy. Positive identification has yet to be made and may take an extended amount of time. It is not known if the human remains are that of the home owner, however, the home owner has yet to be located.
 
This case remains under investigation by the Green Lake County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Fire Marshall's Office, Green Lake County Coroner's Office and the Princeton Fire Department.
 
Additional units reponding to this fatal fire were Green Lake County Med1 paramedic unit, Markesan Fire, and Green Lake Fire services.

An autopsy conducted yesterday by the Fond Du Lac County Medical Examiner indicated that the death of the individual was fire and heat related. Positive identification of the adult female victim has yet to be made. However, the homeowner, Maureen A. Martin, age 66, of that address, has yet to be located. At this time it is believed that the remains are of that of the homeowner, Ms. Maureen Martin.
 
The fire scene was released late yesterday afternoon.
 
This case remains under investigation by the Green Lake County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Fire Marshall's Office, Green Lake County Coroner's Office and the Princeton Fire Department.

The Green Lake County Coroners Office has released the name of the person who died in the house fire at W3643 Judy Lane in the Town of Princeton on Tuesday morning February 5.
Deputy Coroner Bill Smith RN said that dental X-rays were required to positively identify Maureen A. Martin, age 66, who was the owner and sole resident of the home. A Forensic Autopsy was completed at the Medical Examiners Office in Fond du Lac, however dental records were necessary to make certain of the identification. Smith has ruled the case of death to be intensive thermal injuries and the inhalation of smoke and hot gases.The complete toxicology report for the victim of this fire is still pending.
