After an extensive investigation involving the City of Berlin Police and Green Lake County Sheriff's Office, four local juvenile's have been identified as being responsible for the explosive devices and vandalism from Sunday evening. In total, four explosive devices had been manufactured; three were detonated and one was unsuccessful which was recovered by law enforcement. Approximately 20 other mailboxes had been damaged by means of a baseball bat.  

A Green Lake County Sheriff's Deputy has obtained confessions from those involved who are cooperating.   Referrals will be made to Green Lake County Social Services for all four youth.

No known injuries were incurred as a result of these devices.
